How the journey began.... I bought my 4 year old daughter Willow a Lego set for Christmas.  She really wanted the Encanto house set which we happily got her, and we sat for a couple of hours building, and we had so much fun doing it together (I actually think I enjoyed it more than her).  After searching for another set that we could build together I discovered the Ferrari Daytona which I just had to buy as a project for myself.

This lead me to looking at Lego in a different way and found out some interesting stats, for example did you know that there are 220 Million Lego sets sold around the world yearly?  This works out at around 7 sets sold every second!

I have actively been looking to get involved with a Community Foundation locally and have been speaking with local businesses in our community.  This, coupled with the new way I look at Lego lead me to an opportunity that I would like as many of my connections as possible to get involved with.  I'm delighted to introduce you to 'My Lego Club'.

So far we have a website in progress that should be completed by the end of the month, I'm in advanced talks with a community foundation as to how we can help fund much needed charity work (not the big Nationals, but the small unheard about community/charity work), we will be able to 'giveaway' Lego sets for families to enjoy together whilst helping some great work that goes on in the community.
